Carolyn Leonard Williams was born October 25, 1950 to the late Perry Bray and Christine Leonard, and was the eldest of nine children. Carolyn confessed Christ at an early age and joined Center Street Baptist Church. Carolyn was educated in the Birmingham City schools and employed by The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, where she retired after 25 years of dedicated service as a dental Radiology Technician. Carolyn leaves to cherish her sweet memories: her loving, devoted husband, Lamar J. Williams,Sr.; five sons: Tony, Tim(Adrienne), Lamar, Jr., Frederick, and Patrick, three daughters: Shernicia, Quiantranese, and LaMarshia, twenty grandchildren, one uncle, one great uncle, four brothers, four sisters, one special friend, Lois, and a host of other relatives and friends. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 1 P.M. at Valhalla Cemetery with Dr. Melvin Rodgers officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. 12:45 P.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home.
