Eva Kathryn ""Kathy""  Malone (Wesson)
Eva Kathryn "Kathy" Wesson Malone, age 62, passed away December 29, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's. She was a member of True Worshipers Christian Church

Kathy is preceded in death by her father Milton Thomas "Buck" Wesson and mother Doris Stephens Wesson, Sister Debra Pugh and grandson Whit Golson.

Kathy is survived by her husband Robert M. Malone, Son Dr. Matt Smith (Julie Smith), Daughter Megan Golson (Bret Golson), Stepdaughter Stacey Malone-Voss (Shane Voss) and Stepson Robert Ray Malone (Susan Malone), Grandchildren, Lorelei, Miriam, Grace, Hunter, and Ryker, Step grandchildren, Carla, Nicole, Amber, Ashlynn, Allison, Adyson, Avery, Maddox, Step great - grandchildren, Jayson, Ian, Addyson and Brecken, Sister Susan Martin along with nieces and nephews, Kevin, Tim, Brad and Anna.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home with service following at 11:00 a.m. Brother Wendell Roy Nichols will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Northport. Kathy will be buried along side her grandson Whit Golson.

Special thank you to Jennifer Carroll ( Kathy's Caretaker) who tirelessly and lovingly, 24/7 helped Robert with her care for the last year. Kathy loved her so much and Jennifer loved her with all her heart. Jennifer was a special part of making Kathy comfortable and happy!

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the International Mission Board via imb.org/give.

There will not be a graveside service.
