Life Story for William Gene Hocutt

William Gene Hocutt Jr. passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at 5:32 am. He was a man of quick wit and a love of others. He will be remembered most for his love of meteorology, music, and Alabama football. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Earl Elijah and Edie Bell Hocutt; Cecil and Ruby Lucille Pond; his parents William Gene Hocutt Sr and Barbara Ellen Pond Manning. He leaves behind his 2 sisters, Kathy Hilliard; and Carolyn (Neal) Lovell; 3 nieces and 2 nephews, Nanette (Chuck) Fortenberry; Tara (Daryl) Oglesby; Eddie (Karen) Hilliard; Bradley Hilliard; Claire (Ricky) Trudell; 7 great nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Murphy. His memorial service will be held Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10:00, Valhalla Funeral Home, Midfield, Alabama
