That Day

Today my Grandfather Spencer Ames got to meet his mother for the first time. She died giving birth to him and he never got to meet her. Today God granted a life long wish of his. Praise God for His perfect timing. My grandfather was a great man and served this great county with honor in WWII. As we had to face his passing today we are a peace because we will see him again. As we walked behind his body draped with the American flag Veterans lined the halls and saluted his body as we walked past them and taps was being played. As we felt the love and brotherhood of Veterans is was an honor for us to walk behind our Army Veteran Spencer Ames. These next several days will not be easy as we lay his body to rest but we know it's just a body. We find peace and comfort in knowing his perfect body met Jesus today and his Mother. Thank you for all your prayers and calls today. We ask for your continued prayers in the coming days.
